Tips for Claiming from Airlines
Keep All Documentation
Save your booking confirmation, boarding passes, and any communication from the airline about delays or cancellations.
Know the Reason for Disruption
Ask the airline for the reason in writing. "Extraordinary circumstances" like weather may exempt them, but technical faults don't.
Don't Accept Vouchers
Airlines may offer vouchers instead of cash. You're entitled to monetary compensation - don't settle for less.
Be Persistent
Airlines often reject valid claims initially. If you believe you're entitled to compensation, appeal or seek help.
